2 Essential Ideas on Education at JICS 1. We encourage each student to have high self-esteem. "The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field. When a man found it, he hid it again, and then in his joy went and sold all he had and bought that field.” (Matthew 13:44) Since Jesus sacrificed his life to save us, we believe that the every student should know their value as children of God, and therefore have confidence in themselves and a healthy self-esteem.

2. We pursue the right way of education. Our education goes beyond the transmission of knowledge and rote memorization. We require students to process facts and skills at a deeper intellectual level as they relate these to concepts and principles. JICS teachers focus on eliciting the thought and behavior of the students. We believe that loving our students should prepare them for their future by having a vivid vision of themselves. We also believe that the students will dedicate themselves to their work when the teachers do so and the students will have a vision when the teachers do so. At JICS, our goal is to raise students who please the Lord and make a positive impact on the world around them. I pray for the children, their families to be blessed.
