JICS Covid-19 Update

Dear JICS Parents and Students,
The cases of COVID-19 in Songdo and Incheon area have been drastically rising
as a result of the long weekend. Up to this date, we can confirm that there are no cases within the JICS community.
Of course this will not defer us from keeping alert and on top of the news;
however, as children are now at high risk, we strongly urge JICS students, parents, and ALL siblings to: please stay quarantined, do not meet with each other or friends outside the family, and please do not attend any academies, after-school programs, and/or sports or music classes until further notice.
We understand this is not an easy task, but to minimize risk and to keep our families as safe as possible, we strongly ask that we all keep this safe distance.
I’ve asked our teachers and staff to be quarantined and to remain at home as well.
We will continue to update you throughout next week as we learn more and if anything further comes up. Thank you again to all our parents and families.
You are all so appreciated.

송도와 인천 지역의 COVID-19 확진 사례가 지난 연휴 후
급격히 증가하고 있다는 것은 여러분들도 잘 알고 계실 것입니다.
현재로써는 다행히 JICS 내에 확진 사례가 없는 것을 확인드릴 수 있습니다.
물론 그렇다하여 코로나 소식에 예의주시 하지 않거나
긴장감을 늦추지는 않을 것입니다;
하지만 학생들이 지금 높은 위험에 처해 있기 때문에,
JICS 학생들과 부모님들, 그리고 형제 자매들 모두
댁에서 격리된 생활을 하시고,
가족 외의 다른 친구들과 만나지 말고, 추후 통지가 있을 때까지
어떠한 학원, 방과 후 프로그램, 그리고/또는 스포츠나 음악 수업에도
보내지 않으시길 강력히 요청드립니다.
이것이 결코 쉬운 일이 아니라는 것을 이해하지만,
위험을 최소화하고 가능한 한 우리 가족의 안전을 지키기 위해,
우리 모두가 사회적 안전 거리를 유지하시기를 강력하게 말씀드립니다.
선생님과 직원들 역시 집에서 격리된 생활을 요청한 상태입니다.
